Analysis of Mechanical Properties of Coconut Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Polymer Composites by FEA analysis

In recent years, composite material replaces conventional like metal, wood etc due to its light weight, high strength weight ratio and stiffness properties. Natural fibers coir, bamboo fiber, banana plant fiber has low cost, easily availability less harmful human. this work, coir is used as a reinforced material. Composites were prepared with different of epoxy resin. To find the effect on mechanical properties composite, tensile test, impact test hardness conducted specimens. ASTM D638-V D256 standards prepare specimens for respectively. Experimental result shows that addition increases composite; 7.5% content maximum strength. FEA analysis can be done save time compare experimental data . Ansys software Finally check any difference in The values are more than values. Decrease value testing may presence inhomoginites such as, mixture matrix thoroughly, air bubbles
